Tame Impala to headline Citadel Festival 2018
London’s Citadel Festival heads to Gunnersbury Park this July, and is set to feature a UK festival exclusive performance from Australian psych-rockers, Tame Impala.
This will be the band’s first appearance in the UK since they performed two sell-out shows at Alexandra Palace back in 2016. This is a testament to their popularity and, no doubt, they will be welcoming TI fans in droves.
The festival, which takes place on Sunday 15th July 2018, has previously enjoyed performances from some of the music scene’s most prolific artists, with the likes of Foals, Bonobo, Sigur Ros, Ben Howard and Bombay Bicycle Club all gracing the stage at past Citadel events.
Citadel regulars will have noticed that the festival has upped roots for this year’s excursion. Previously taking place at Victoria Park, the organisers have decided to shift over to Ealing for 2018, with Gunnersbury Park set to be the stage for this rendition of Citadel Festival.
A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available to fans at 12pm, Friday 9th February. To be in with a chance of grabbing one of these you’ll need to sign up via the Citadel Festival website. Tickets will then go on general sale at 9am, Monday 12th February.
