Tomorrowland Weekend One Video Highlights
With weekend two fast approaching, we’ve put together a collection of the best sets from round one of Tomorrowland 2018: The Story of Planaxis.
Let’s hope for more of the same this weekend!
Carl Cox
Kicking things off on the Main Stage, Carl Cox opened 2018’s DayBreak sessions with two and a half hours of techno bliss. Oh yes, oh yes.
Charlotte de Witte
A further dose of techno on the Main Stage, this time courtesy of Belgium’s very own Charlotte de Witte.
Kollektiv Turmstrasse
In the stunning surroundings of the Diynamic Stage, Kollektiv Turmstrasse provided 90 minutes of magic, backdropped by the incredible Saturday night fireworks display (20mins15).
Solomun
The Diynamic stage also featured a performance from Solomun himself, with the label-head drawing a huge crowd for his two-hour set on Saturday evening.
DJ Jazzy Jeff
DJ Jazzy Jeff’s turntablism skills were in full effect on Friday night, as the legendary record producer/actor/DJ worked through his extensive vinyl collection over at the Organ of Life Stage.
Armin van Buuren
A regular on the line-up since the festival’s inception back in 2005, Armin van Buuren is a firm favourite among the Tomorrowland crowd – and after seeing his Saturday evening set from the weekend, it’s easy to see why…
Oliver Heldens
Performing at the Musical Freedom Stage, headed by Tiesto, Oliver Heldens’ bass-heavy set featured all his future house hits alongside dance classics from down the years.
Vini Vici
Arriving on the Main Stage after incredible sets from Carl Cox and Charlotte de Witte, The Israeli duo provided an hour of absolute carnage on the Friday afternoon, keeping the crowd moving from start to finish.
Axwell ^ Ingrosso
Having both been regulars at the festival over the past decade, both as solo performers and with Swedish House Mafia, it’s safe to say the duo know how to please a Tomorrowland crowd…
Hardwell
Hardwell made his much-anticipated return to the Tomorrowland Main Stage, six years on from his last appearance at the festival. It’s safe to say people were glad to see him back.
Dua Lipa
Fans at the STMPD RCRDS Stage were treated to a 45 min performance from Dua Lipa and her band, adding a live element to Saturday night’s proceedings.
Alesso
Arriving with an endless back-catalogue of summer anthems, Alesso demonstrated why he’s a regular fixture on the Tomorrowland Main Stage line-up with an epic headlining set on Saturday night.
