More Acts Announced For Victorious Festival

Victorious Festival have added another batch of huge names to this year’s line-up, with an eclectic variety of artists joining already announced headliners Stereophonics, Madness and Elbow at Southsea Seafront this August.

Drum and bass pioneer Shy FX and frequent collaborator Stamina MC bolster the dance bill, bringing their riotous party vibes to Southsea Seafront for a proper old-school jungle rave.

Following widespread critical acclaim for their latest album Lost Property, indie-folk rockers Turin Brakes head to Victorious with a wealth of material that includes seven studio albums. Their set is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Indie/acoustic singer-songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich also joins the bill along with feted newcomer Will Joseph Cook, whose brand new album Sweet Dreamer has earned rave reviews across the media spectrum.

Mancunian rockers Slow Readers Club are sure to be another Victorious highlight; described by the Manchester Evening News as “one of the most exciting sounds coming out of our fair city”, the band are well known for their dynamic and energetic live performances.

Renowned Canadian folk musician Dan Caplan and acoustic singer/songwriter Matt Wills complete the announcement.

Other acts to appear over the course of the weekend are The Charlatans, Jake Bugg, Maximo Park, Franz Ferdinand, Sundara Karma, Feeder, Rita Ora, Olly Murs and of course this year’s headliners Stereophonics, Madness and Elbow.

In addition to its huge line-up of music, the family-friendly festival also features an enormous free kid’s arena, bustling markets, real ale, real food and an atmosphere not to be missed.

Victorious Festival takes place from 25-27 August 2017, in the spectacular setting of Southsea overlooking the Solent. Early bird tickets are still available to purchase for £30 (Friday) and £37 (Saturday/ Sunday).
