Victorious Festival Announces Its Butserfest Alternative Stage
Victorious Festival has announced the acts set to take to its Butserfest Stage. The festival has joined forces with Butserfest to offer a raft of alternative rock acts to eager punters.
Butserfest has, for ten years now, been the UK’s biggest alcohol-free festival. Traditionally aimed at 14-20 year olds, the festival (normally a separate entity) has offered its services to Victorious to bring both established and up-and-coming artists to the stage.
East Hampshire artists will be represented at the festival, as well as artists from across the globe. If you are in a (local) band and wish to take part in the festivities on the Butserfest Stage, you can apply to do so my visiting the Victorious Festival website.
In terms of confirmed acts, we have a few from the organisers here. Saturday will see Norfolk alt-rockers, Deaf Havana, taking to the stage. They appear at Victorious Festival following a busy summer on the festival circuit, so expect them to be well oiled for their performance.
Additional acts include Pulled Apart by Horses, who will also be appearing on the Saturday. Sunday will see appearances from healdiners, SikTh, who will undoubtedly be bringing the ruckus with their heavy metal sound. Joining them will be Young Guns, Shvpes, Hacktivist, Dinosaur Pile-Up, Fort Hope, and Counterfeit.
The above acts have been added to an already extensive selection of artists who will be rocking up to rock out. You will be able to enjoy shows from some really big acts, including the mighty Madness, The Charlatans, Stereophonics, Elbow, Olly Murs, Maximo Park, Rito Ora, Jake Bugg, Franz Ferdinand, Slaves, The Dandy Warhols, and much, much more.
At the time of writing, the full weekend tickets had sold out. You can still purchase single day tickets, which wil set you back £30 for the Friday, and £37 for the Saturday and Sunday.
Victorious Festival takes place 25 – 27 August 2017, at Southsea, Portsmouth. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Victorious Festival page.
