Victorious Festival Announces Second Wave of Artists for 2019
Victorious Festival returns this August Bank Holiday, bringing with it a host of artists from across the board.
The metropolitan festival takes place in Southsea, with views of the Solent, from August 23rd to 25th and has just confirmed a shedload of new artists, including Doves, Tom Grennan and Ocean Colour Scene.
Festival favourites, Two Door Cinema Club, will be heading down south, fresh off the back of their world tour. They will be headlining on Friday night, alongside ska and two-tone purveyors, The Specials.
Saturday’s headliner has been confirmed as the award-winning Rudimental, who chase up their Toast to Our Differences LP with their slot at Victorious 2019. Saturday will also see a special performance by Bloc Party, who revisit their debut album Silent Alarm.
Sunday’s headliner is yet to be announced, but the Victorious organisers have confirmed that the closing day will feature sets from Clean Bandit, The Vaccines and Razorlight.
Festival organiser, Andy Marsh, said: “This is the seventh year and it just keeps getting better and better.
“We’re extremely excited about this year’s festival, our first wave of artists were extremely well received and we’re delighted to bring a second wave.
“With our final headliner still to be announced and a few surprises up our sleeve, I’m convinced 2019 is destined to be a great year for Victorious!”
