Victorious Festival Line-up: The Specials, James Bay & Clean Bandit Announced for 2019

Victorious Festival have just announced the first wave of artists for their Southsea shindig, with The Specials, James Bay and Clean Bandit set to top the bill next August Bank Holiday.

Previous editions have featured top names across multiple genres, including Dizzee RascalThe Lightning SeedsBasement Jaxx, and, most recently, The Prodigy and The Libertines, so you can probably gather that Victorious rates highly in the metropolitan festival standings.

2019 will see Victorious Festival reaching their eighth year, and they will be building on the success of the previous seven outings with a diverse line-up.

So far, we have; The Specials, two-tone pioneers and a band whose 40 years experience ensures that their performances are consistent roof-raisers; singer-songwriter and award-winning artist, James Bay; garage-rock purveying Swedish band, The Hives, who scored an anthemic hit with I Hate to Say I Told You So; and indie rockers, The Rifles.

Also confirmed for Victorious 2019 are Clean Bandit, who have been making serious waves as an electronica-tinged outfit, and The Vaccines, who come armed with singalong tracks such as If You Wanna and Post Break-Up Sex. There are plenty of places to stay, or you can keep in tradition and hunker down in true festival-camping style at one of the off-site camping locations.

If this little Christmas morsel is something that whets your appetite, then perhaps tickets might make a great gift? Eh? Full of good ideas, us. You can grab yours, and find out more about the offsite camping arrangements, here, with standard early bird tickets for one day at Victorious Festival 2019 starting at as little as £25, for one adult.

In the meantime, keep your eyes pointing firmly at NextFest for more line-up news as we receive it.
