Victorious Festival Organisers Bolster Line-Up with Further Announcement of Acts for 2017
Yet more acts have been added to the roster at 2017’s Victorious Festival…over 150 new acts, to be more precise. This most recent slew of artists added to the line-up are representative of the wave of acts emerging into the music industry as we speak.
First up, singer-songwriter of all things indie-pop, Jerry Williams, has been added to the bill. She has been presented in some circles as ‘the next Taylor Swift’, which makes sense as her hook-laden brand of pop music would obviously draw comparison with the stratospherically famous female singer. Williams’ songs are inspired by her upbringing, and by the lives of those who lived around her during her formative years.
She will undoubtedly be performing her latest single I’m Not in Love with You, which has seen Williams earning a whole host of accolades, including ‘Track of the Week’ on BBC Introducing. Not half bad, then!
Kassassin Street have also been asked to join the existing artists set to play the festival. The Southsea band have been knocking the socks of crowds up and down the country. They appear at the festival off the back of their latest 11-date tour of the UK, which saw them packing out venues in the likes of Southampton, Liverpool, and Manchester.
Repping the unsigned crew are Slow Readers Club, who will be heading down to Victorious all the way from sunny Manchester. Dance covers band Rhythm of the 90’s have also been added to the roster – they’ll be been doing exactly as they say on their tin: providing 90’s nostalgia.
Victorious Festival takes place 25 – 27 August at Southsea Seafront, Portsmouth, Hampshire. For the full line-up, photos, videos and ticket information head over to our Victorious Festival page.
