Wilderness Festival Line-up: Chic ft Nile Rodgers, Bastille & Jon Hopkins to Headline
The line-up for this year’s Wilderness Festival has been revealed, with Chic ft Nile Rodgers, Bastille and Jon Hopkins heading up an eclectic bill of artists.
Taking place from 2nd – 5th August at Oxfordshire’s Cornbury Park, Wilderness Festival heads into its eighth year with a reputation as one of the UK’s best boutique festivals.
The festival’s Main Stage, supported by BBC Music, is set to showcase an incredibly diverse variety of international artists, with the supremely talented jazz saxophonist and composer Kamasi Washington on the line-up alongside the likes of Baxter Dury, who’ll be performing songs from his latest album Prince Of Tears, plus dance-punk five-piece CHK CHK CHK and rising UK hip-hop star IAMDDB.
When the curtains close on the main stage there will be late night beats at The Valley courtesy of Groove Armada, Peggy Gou and Severino.
Wilderness‘ Wellbeing Area will then be on hand to help soothe your sore head the next day.
There will be a full programme of cabaret and comedy at The Be All And End Hall venue, plus a huge range of creative workshops such as life drawing, weaving, wielding and carpentry.
Foodies will be well catered for at the Banquets & Feasting section of the festival, which will host the traditional wood-fire banquet on the opening night and several long-table feasts over the course of the weekend.
Wilderness Festival takes place at Cornbury Park from 2 – 5 August 2018. For the full line-up, plus photos, videos and ticket info, head to our Wilderness 2018 event page.
Weekend tickets are currently up for grabs at £179.50 (+ booking fee). You can grab yours HERE.
