Wu-Tang Clan, Underworld, The Libertines Announced for Boomtown 2020
The line-up has been revealed for Boomtown 2020, with a hugely diverse bill of artists set to perform at ‘Chapter 12: A State of Emergency’.
In true Boomtown fashion, the music programmers have thrown in all kinds of surprises for this August’s edition, including a headline slot for indie legends The Libertines.
Pete Doherty, Carl Barât and co top the bill alongside US hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan, Underworld, Kano and Damian Marley. Meanwhile, Pendulum bring their brand new TRINITY concept to Boomtown for the first time, and the remaining headlining slots are taken by Mura Masa, Kelis, Squarepusher, Orbital, Kool & The Gang and De La Soul.
Boomtown’s newest district, AREA 404, returns for its second year with collection of house and techno’s biggest names, including The Black Madonna, Maceo Plex and Helena Hauff. The area will also feature B2B sets from Eats Everything x Monika Kruse and Denis Sulta x Mella Dee.
Drum and Bass is, as always at Boomtown, very well represented on the line-up, with Andy C, Shy FX and the High Contrast Band all set to be in attendance.
Full line-ups for the various Boomtown districts will be announced closer to the event, including hundreds of new artists. For all the latest Boomtown details, plus photos, videos and ticket info, head to our Boomtown festival page, HERE.
